New entrants are crucial both for the preservation of European agriculture and for the development of Europe’s rural areas. Europe recognises the importance of these newcomers and promotes initiatives to support them. In that context, the Sustainable Food Economies Research Group (SFERE) of the KU Leuven participates in the European project Newbie.
